2024 Great Backyard Bird Count Bird Tours!

Look for an email with your Bird Tour details.

Remember to review the Recording Tools so you’ll be able to get right into bird counting.

Print, sign and bring the Participant Waiver Agreement if you wish. Otherwise Felicia will have some for you to sign at the event.

Remember to bring:

• Binoculars. We have a limited supply if you need to borrow a pair.
• Bird field guides are useful to reference, if you have one. Download PDFs or we will have some printed when you arrive.
• Dress for the weather and for rough terrain, e.g., closed-toe shoes, long pants.
• Bring a hat, sunglasses, bug repellent and/or sun screen as needed.
• Bring water to drink over the 2-hour walk.

Meet us at the Nature Preserve map kiosk by 8:45 am. The Tours run from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
