Christine Golden was selected as the Cache Creek Conservancy’s Philanthropy Day Honoree for 2022. She will receive special recognition with the other 27 volunteers or donors from throughout Yolo County at a reception on November 15.

Imagine you could travel back in time to 14,000 years ago here at Cache Creek. Back then it was the Ice Age, and the standard of what large wildlife was very different from today. There were ground sloths, saber-toothed cats, camels, dire wolves, and of course mammoths… or mastodons… or perhaps both? YES!

This position reports directly to the Executive Director and is responsible for continued operation and refinement of our avian and wildlife monitoring program (including nest box monitoring), internship program, interpretive tours, and grant research and writing.
