Repair work on Gordon Slough near the entrance to the Cache Creek Nature Preserve was finally finished on October 20, 2023.
Harnawaz Boparai, the Conservancy’s biologist working on special projects, has left the Conservancy to pursue his academic career in ecological paleontology. We had a special last day in a Chevy on a levee eating pie!
Christine Golden was selected as the Cache Creek Conservancy’s Philanthropy Day Honoree for 2022. She will receive special recognition with the other 27 volunteers or donors from throughout Yolo County at a reception on November 15.
