Leok Po (pronounced lay-oak poe) in the Wintun language means Good Fire. This demonstration and workshop will showcase California Native American use of fire to enhance cultural resources and help restore the environment.

Restoration Biologist Position

The Cache Creek Conservancy is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Restoration Biologist. This position reports directly to the Executive Director and is responsible for continued operation and refinement of our avian and wildlife monitoring program (including nest box monitoring), internship program, interpretive tours, and grant research and writing.

Docent Training – Dinosaurs!

We have a need for people who are interested in being Visitor Center docents.

Participants will be among the first to see the new displays, hear from Conservancy naturalists Harnawaz Boparai and Diana Dripps about the displays, and learn a little bit more about Cache Creek’s pre-and more recent history.
