Location: Cache Creek Nature Preserve (see map)

Spend some quality time with like-minded people. Enjoy nature in our brisk, Northern California weather. Help us restore the Nature Preserve to its previous health and beauty.

We will be planting trees and shrubs along the west bank of the wetland, as well as some willows and forbs on the islands.

What are forbs? A forb or phorb is an herbaceous flowering plant that is not a grass, sedge, or rush. The term is used in biology and in vegetation ecology, especially in relation to grasslands and understory. Learn more about them at this event.

Safety Guidelines

Remember to dress for the weather and wear closed-toe shoes. Please do not come if you are sick or exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms and practice physical distancing.
