Cache Creek Conservancy is seeking a full-time executive director to lead our Woodland-based nonprofit organization where we restore, preserve, and protect the Cache Creek watershed.
The focus of our environmental stewardship and educaton programs are riparian restoraton along a 14-mile stretch of the Lower Cache Creek as outlined in Yolo County’s Cache Creek Resources Management Plan.
The Conservancy operates from and manages the Jan T. Lowrey Cache Creek Nature Preserve, a 130-acre complex of wetlands, oak woodlands, grasslands, and Creekside lands located seven miles west of Woodland.
The Cache Creek Conservancy Board of Directors seeks a proven leader with a passion for our mission and demonstrated experience leading successful teams, preferably in a nonprofit setting where effectiveness includes
- people and financial management,
- fundraising,
- and program oversight.
The Executive Director is the leader and chief spokesperson for the organization and reports directly to the Board of Directors. The successful candidate will embody the leadership competencies outlined in the job description which can be opened and downloaded below.
