It’s been 25 years since the Cache Creek Nature Preserve opened to the public, so please join us on Saturday, September 13th from 10 AM to 3 PM to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of its opening!
The Cache Creek Nature Preserve has served as a local gem for nature-lovers, school field trips, research, and wildlife. From humble beginnings as a sheep farm and later a gravel mining operation, we are so proud of how far it has come—and excited about what the future holds! Clearly, there is a lot to celebrate.
Cache Creek Conservancy is teaming up with our close partners and supporters to bring more festivities to this family-friendly day. There will be activities such as demonstrations, hay rides, touch-a-truck, partner organization and activity tables, plus so much more. The nature preserve’s visitor center will also debut its grand-reopening!
