Equinox at the Cache Creek Nature Preserve

Cache Creek Conservancy staff began the morning with a livestream of the first sunrise of Spring 2021 on Instagram Live.

We took time to acknowledge planet earth on its journey around the sun and the ancestral homelands in which the Cache Creek Nature Preserve resides. The afternoon saw a virtual tour of the Nature Preserve focused on the flowering plants that bloom in spring.

We finished the first day of spring with a guided meditation overlooking the wetland as the sun set behind the Coast Ranges. Thank you to everyone who joined us during Spring Equinox 2021.
