Programs for Youth Groups

Visits

The Cache Creek Conservancy is pleased to offer various programs for youth groups during their visit to the Cache Creek Nature Preserve. Each program is tailored to the needs or requirements of the group. Some of the groups that have visited us in the past include Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, Brownies, 4-H Clubs, YMCA, and Nature Bowl teams. Scouting groups often work towards a specific merit badge or go on a hike. The Conservancy also has an established Experience the Creek environmental education program with customizable activities to meet your needs.  Community service projects can also be arranged for those groups wishing to gain service hours, please see below.

Contact our Outreach and Education Coordinator to arrange a specialized program.

Projects

The Cache Creek Conservancy will work individually with Scouts to finalize their specific project and provide a place in which they can implement it.  Please contact our Outreach and Education Coordinator regarding a potential project.
