Cool off in the Creek ~ Pick up litter ~ Protect the Habitat

Join us for Cache Creek Cleanup 2025 on Saturday, September 20th from 9AM-12PM as part of the California Coastal Cleanup Day!

Volunteers
There will be light lunch and snacks for volunteers. Don’t forget to bring your reusable water bottles, sunglasses, sunblock, a hat as it may be hot on that day! Bring gloves, too, if you have them.
Informational and Educational Booths
Organizations from the community are welcome to set up booths, free of charge.
Off-Road Vehicles
As a special request to those with off-road vehicles, this will be one of the rare instances that assistance will be needed to removes large items from the Creek! Bring your ATV’s – as we need lots of help removing tires from our local riparian habitat!
The California Coastal Commission has been organizing an annual Costal Cleanup event for 40 years. This is a collaborative event, organized amongst many local nature conservancies and environmental groups to remove trash from California’s many waterways and beaches. This is the first year of the Trashure (Trash-ure) Hunt theme, which we are very excited for here at the Cache Creek Conservancy! The Cache Creek Conservancy has been organizing the Cache Creek Cleanup as part of this statewide effort for 37 years!
Reducing trash in the creek creates a better environment for all. It lessens the amount of potential toxins that seep into the soil and groundwater. It removes debris that can be physical and health hazards to humans and wildlife.
Join us to be a part of something BIG! With others from across the county, and across the world, we can make our homes a cleaner place to live and play. Cleaning up the creek allows the natural beauty of the creek to be seen by everyone.
