2022 Internship Program at the Cache Creek ConservancY

Additional Information

The Cache Creek  Conservancy will be accepting applications in March from college and university students or recent graduates for its 2022 Internship Program. 


Ecological and Environmental Interns will assist Conservancy staff with habitat restoration for native wildlife and plants within the nature preserve and other sites along the lower Cache Creek watershed.


The internship is unpaid; however, credit units may be available with the support of a faculty sponsor from your major department.


  • The internship program have four distinct special project teams. Applicants are encouraged to select a project team in their application.  Project teams are listed below.


Requirements:

  • Commit to 3 to 10 hours a week; weekends can be accommodated.
  • One quarter/semester with choice to continue for additional quarters/semesters. If you are graduating or have graduated, you may still apply.


Project Teams:

  • Bird Nest Box Monitoring and Bird Habitat Enhancement
  • Ecological Horticulture
  • Preserve Maintenance
  • Wildlife Monitoring

Email your resume and cover letter explaining why you would like to intern at the Cache Creek Nature Preserve in Woodland, CA. Include how the project team you selected will provide the experience that fits with your educational or career goals.

Applications may be submitted any time before the beginning of a term. For credit internships, the application must be submitted before the start of your academic term.
