Nature Preserve Booth at Woodland Farmers Market

You and your family can find out about the Cache Creek Nature Preserve at the Woodland Farmers Market on Saturday mornings this Summer and Fall 2024.

We answer questions about the Preserve and about local wildlife in general and about the other work the Conservancy does.

At our booth, we have “magnetic sand” where kids make hoof prints of various wildlife at the Nature Preserve, colorful photos of birds at the preserve which we give away, seeds for plants and a bird nesting box.

A pair of Barn Owls live in the Old Barn Museum at the preserve.

Ask about Barn Owl pellets and how they tell us what kinds of wildlife are living at the preserve.

The Farmers Market meets in front of the Woodland Public Library on First Street, between Court and North. It started May 11, 2024 and is open every Saturday through the middle of October (date uncertain due to weather) from 9 am to noon.

There are also various events through the season such as a tomato tasting, children’s farmers markets and play areas. Get your groceries, local specialty foods and crafts, flowers and information at others booths including the Master Gardeners.
